Trước khi vào Zalo, em nghĩ làm product là tạo ra một sản phẩm “đẹp”. Nhưng tại đây, em hiểu rằng product là những quyết định giữa rất nhiều ràng buộc - con người, hệ thống và các ưu tiên khác nhau. PMT dạy em cách chọn điều quan trọng nhất ở từng thời điểm, chấp nhận đánh đổi và bảo vệ lựa chọn của mình bằng lập luận, không phải cảm tính. Dù áp lực, nhận nhiều feedback thẳng thắn và rất nhiều câu hỏi ‘vì sao’, nhưng đây là một hành trình thật sự đáng giá. Nếu được chọn lại, em vẫn sẽ chọn trở thành PMT tại Zalo

  1. Does Zalo PMT require a specific major?

    Zalo PMT doesn’t require a specific major. However, due to the nature of the role, applicants from backgrounds related to information technology, software engineer, management information system, computer science, business or economic may have an advantage.


    - Having relevant experience or personal projects in product development is a big plus.

    - If you don't have experience yet, you can still impress us with:
    + Strong critical and logical thinking
    + Sharp problem-solving skills
    + Creativity
    + Passion for technology and a desire to use it to solve real user problems

  2. What do I need to include in my application?

    To apply, please complete the application form with all required information. You will also need to upload:


    - Your CV (in PDF format)
    - Your most recent academic transcript

  3. Can applicants outside of Ho Chi Minh City apply?

    Yes, applicants from outside Ho Chi Minh City are welcome to apply. However, please note that Zalo PMT requires full-time, on-site work at our offices in Ho Chi Minh City (either VNG Campus in District 7 or Sala in District 2)

  4. What does the Entrance Test include?

    The Entrance Test follows a shortened version of the GMAT format. It lasts 90 minutes and includes 40 multiple-choice questions covering three areas:


    + Quantitative
    + Data Insight
    + Verbal

    - The test will be conducted offline at VNG Campus within a designated time slot.

  5. What are the format, content, and duration of the Assignment round?

    You will receive a set of assignment topics from the program and may choose one to work on. A valid submission must include:


    + A written presentation of your solution in Word or PowerPoint format (can be exported to PDF)
    + A presentation video (maximum 10 minutes)

    You will have 7 days to complete and submit your assignment.

  6. Will the interview be conducted in English or Vietnamese?

    The interview will be conducted in Vietnamese. However, please note that English is frequently used in daily work.

  7. What does the PMT training program include, and what are the requirements for full-time employment?

    - As a PMT participant, you will join an intensive training program while actively working on real projects assigned to you, supported by dedicated mentors.


    - The comprehensive training covers fundamental knowledge and mindset of a product owner, product management and development skills, user research, data analysis, UI/UX design, project management, and more. The training content is designed and advised by Department Heads and Managers to ensure a practical, focused, and breakthrough learning path. After each training session, you will have exercises or small projects to immediately apply the knowledge gained.


    - Over the 4-month program, PMT participants will take two competency assessments (mid-term and final-term), where you will present your project work. Successful completion will determine your graduation and consideration for becoming a full-time employee.

  8. What support will PMT participants receive throughout the program?
